I am such a klutz - have just fallen down the stairs and my arm is really sore. It has a huge bruise on my forearm that came up immediately and my fingers are tingly. It is still sore now and I feel sick! Bashed my shoulder and bum too!!

Whar am I best doing - ice on it and painkillers? It is not likely to be broken as it is not painful to touch and I can move it ok, so not planning to take a trip anywhere, but just after some sympathy as DH is at work until 3am and the kids are asleep!!

I fell down the stairs yesterday, so have every sympathy and was going to post too! I smacked my head as well as my bum, arms and everything else and now feel very odd so think I may be concussed slightly. Get ice pack and yes, some painkillers. I did that yesterday and it definitely helped in the short term.

I am still very sore, but it's the head thing that really stands out for me now. This is the second time in three weeks I have done this.

I felt like such a plonker. Just so happened it was the one day in the last 3 months that DH was at home which was good, as he could help me, but was also bad because i felt such an idiot I immediately burst into tears!

I am with you all the way OP!!!!

Go to your nearest Minor Injuries Unit or A&E/Casualty Dept if you don't have a MIU. If you're feeling sick, then you sounds like you're mildly concussed. Better to be safe than sorry.

androbbob - my bruises are extraordinary. DH was pointing and laughing remarking upon the one on my arse this morning and the DC came in and DS (7) said "oh mummy it's HUGE, absolutely ENORMOUS". Great!

And my arm is black and blue too.... you and me both, maybe we had the same accident in a parallel universe?! Confused

Hope you feel better soon. I'm still quite woozy and spongey upstairs (nothing new there then, most of the family probably cry!)
