Argh, I can't find my coil threads

Shock Shock

I've had a copper coil in for maybe 4 months, I have a little rummage every couple of weeks to check the strings, and usually they are really low down (maybe too low down???) so I can feel them really easily.

This morning I can't seem to find them - have tried 3 times now. Is it possible they are just in an awkward position and I'm missing them, or that my uterus has moved about hormonally (period just starting) so they are higher up and I can't find them (I've read some people find them higher/lower down based on when in their cycle).

Shall I just keep checking and see a doctor tomorrow if I can't find them or do I have to go today [sighs at the prospect of having to trek to gps] ?

I can't find mine either. I know it's there because my periods are much heavier with it in. I think it's normal for the strings to curl up after a few months of exposure to your secretions.
