Grumpy that sounds horrid for you, do you pull your hair too ?
How are you doing this evening wifey ?

Grumpystiltskin · 08/11/2011 20:42

Used to but don't do that at all now, realising how common OCD etc was helped me a bit too. wifey keep us updated please.
Thinking of you.

Hi everyone...not so good tonight as my sisters have once again openly excluded me. Instead of cleaning...I was frantically up in the loft organising! I was frantic. I was like it for about an hour...then I cuddled up with my DS before he went to bed. The frantic feelings are still there. Even my DH seemed worried...so he stayed close & was talking to me...trying to help me with the organising. Thank you all again for your kindness....don't get much of that in RL.

did you try the breathing ?

wifey6 · 09/11/2011 07:16

Hi Mary...yes I did & it helped me to calm down enough to stop....although the thoughts & urges were still there. It's an improvement as I've never been able to pull myself out of it before. Thank you

The urges and thoughts will be strong, but if you use the breathing space each time you might find that you can let them pass or that they'll will feel less urgent. Well done though - keep at it !

wifey6 · 09/11/2011 07:40

Thank you Mary...I couldn't of done it without all the advice I recieved from you all yesterday. It saddens me that I get more support & kindness from you lovely ladies than I do my own sisters....but I'm very grateful to have found you all!

Am fine- just done my bit of cleaning (!) am going to leap in the bath.

hope today is good for you - it's probably a bit easier to communicate about these things on here, rather than fb - bit more private.
