Darkening of your areolas

bit worried here. is it possible for areolas to darken during a period or just pregnancy?

Oh sorry, just noticed you said during a period. Hmm, I would think so - sure you'll get some confirmation of this on here.

Not sure about a period but definitely during and after pregnancy in my case!

mine darkened during PG, and I don't think they ever went back to their original colour. At one point last year I looked down at my boobs and panicked because they looked dark and did a PG test (which was negative!!).

Mine definitely did during pregnancy, and changed back to normal afterward. Never happened to me during a period though. Hope this is some use - are you worried?
