I have bf my son and at nearly two he still has little feed each day ESP in evening. I haven't had a period since falling pg with him. It was the same with my dd but she stopped bf at 1 so just wondering is 2yrs still normal not to have a period whilst bf?

No idea what is normal.

After DC1 I became pregnant with DC2 without ever having a period.

My periods returned as soon as I stopped BF DC2 at 3mths.

I have just had my first period after DC4 was born 8mths ago. She is still be fed pretty much four hourly.

So I guess everyone and every time is different Smile

I know full-time breastfeeding can stop periods but if he's only having a small amount of milk each day I'd think it was unusual that you're having no periods. I'd ask the GP.

Thats what I was thinking. Long time and only few feeds now. I do co sleep and wondered if that made a difference?

I breastfed DS1 until he was a year old, my periods returned when he was down to 1 feed a day. I'm still feeding DS2 at nearly 13 months, and he still feeds prob 4 times a day, I've had no period yet.

Everyone is different but ask your GP if you're concerned.

If they had caused damage when they dud my c section (v rough) could that be a cause. But I imagine I would have signs wouldn't I?
