Pains in uterus when spending a penny!

I gave birth 7 months ago and have been breastfeeding ever since. Just recently i have been feeling the same pains i felt in my uterus after birth (the ones you get when uterus is contracting during breastfeeding shortly after birth). I only get these pains when i am going for a wee and it has a dull ache for a short while after. Does anyone know what this might be? Is it a normal thing after having a child?

Could it be a UTI? the bladder is so close by to the uterus it might be hard to tell?

Probably a UTI high up in the system. Easy to get checked out, and can leave nasty scarring if left untreated.

I guess it could be, I hadn't considered that as its not like any uti I've had before. Ill be investing in some cranberry juice tomo just in case! Thanks x

You need to get a sample tested in case it is a uti and you need antibiotics. Cranberry juice does not get rid of existing infections, it can only help to stop you developing an infection. Sounds like a uti to me too - I recently had one without even knowing.

I have fibroids sometimes they cause a pressure like pain when peeing.

Have often thought it was a uti brewing
