OK Everyone, I need your help.

I have to drink 3-4 litres of fluid every day. Doctors orders because of medication.

I need all different ideas of what I can class as liquid

The obvious ones are water, juice, soup, jellies, but what else

Thank you

Cucumber and watermelon are pretty much liquid

Glass of wine?

Iamseeingstars · 01/11/2011 06:41

Cant touch wine - sadly - have been having severe reactions from alcohol so have had to give up on that a while back.

DH liked the suggestion by the way. He said he would drink it on my behalf

Iced lollies?

If you buy one of those litre water bottles you can just refil it with whatever you're drinking and keep a track of how much. You might also drink more as you might swig from it without thinking if you see what i mean?

Just be careful you don't go over the 4 litres as it can be dangerous

I cant imagine ever getting to 4 litres. I struggle with 2 litres. The hospital said if I dont drink enough they will give me fluid drips which might actually be a better option

Set a reminder alarm and try and drink something every hour/hour and a half.

Evian bottles are 75cl so 4 of those would do you, I'd prefer to go with proper liquid as opposed to jellies/lollies tbh, but that's me. If everything you eat is more liquidy I think it just adds to the whole slooshy feeling.

Also I'd try build it up too, maybe go for 2 litres for a couple of days and then up it.
