hi all

i have been having some bp problems since I had my DS 3 yrs ago, I have just started taking perindaprol again as I have been experiencing some severe syptoms...ie visual disturbances, feeling faint, heavy limbs, palpatations etc.
I have now had some blood tests (results this avo after 2pm), had an ecg tues pm last wk, called 8am wed morning to ask me to do a 24 hr urine.

I have just collected the form as I have been away for a few days, its says they are checking for excess steroids and adrenalin.Cue lots of googling and I came up with pheochromocytoma.
Does anyone have any experience of this and the treatment...sure its not but always good to be informed.
Thanks
x

Hi there I'm going through the same. Did it end up being a pheo?

@vstressednanny A couple of years ago I went through all the various tests as my BP went sky high, including the urine collection to check for the pheocromocytoma. The consultant said they do this test to be thorough but it’s quite rare, himself only having seen one case in his career.
