Endometriosis on the lungs?

I was diagnosed with extensive endo earlier this year. I've had a persistent cough for 10 years (on and off, though increasingly more 'on'). I'm wondering if the two are connected. Is it even possible to get endo on the lungs? And if so, how would the doctors diagnose this?
