chest and kidney infection at 16 weeks!

i'm 16 weeks pregnant now. after a kidney infection a month and a half ago, i've been told by the doctor that i have both a chest and kidney infection. and i am in so so much pain on my side. she actually said that if i get any worse i need to seek medical help. it made me panic and i thought that was tempting fate just before the christmas weekend... can see me ending up in a&e on christmas day.

thanks. i have been drinking a lot of water. i do cough a lot. doctor said just to use hot water with honey for it and also paracetamol.

i had loads of kidney infections with dd2. was quite scary. drink loads of water, and if u get worried at all then go to a and e.

well i managed to survive christmas eve and day with it. i was in a lot of pain yesterday, but now feel a lot better. thanks for the advice. i do hope this will be the last kidney infection in this pregnancy.
