Where to get information on Blood Transfusions on NHS for adults & children

enter 'Will I need a blood transfusion' in the search bar and follow links.

The NHS publishes various leaflets on blood, these should be given to patients and parents of young patients by medical staff. I have only just come across them via the above link.

Stock levels are extremely low on all bloods other than O+ and A+.
Very worrying if you are one of the other blood groups
