because DD looks like she's trying to turn into rudolf .. and she has a cold so its drying on the red bit of her nose and looks like scabs .. have been soaking it off with cotton wool but it looks so sore underneath

started on fucidin yesterday

doc said if no better by tommorrow she will give oral anti-bs

give me hope it will go by christmas pictures

get her some antlers for teh festive season

Ds had this and the oral anti-bs cleared it up very quickly... so hang on - there is hope.

how quickly is verrrrry quickly

feel bad .. initially thought it was reaction to MMR or she was run down after the pneumonia and antibiotics a couple of weeks ago so just used aloe vera gel for a week ..

also can it appear on body .. I'm looking at every single red spot (she has one on arm and one on belly)

My dd and ds had it at the same time as it is contagious but they only had it on face. My nephew had it recently on his tummy and my sister then got it on her hands. Not very nice is it. Poor thing.

Hate antibs but get them straight away with impetigo (to which ds seems to be prone) and it clears up instantly but does leave shiny pink patches of new skin where the scabs were for a good few days. Good luck

Yes, ds responded to ABs after three spoonfuls. The scabs dried up, and were all gone by the end of the course. It helps if you catch it quickly, but if you don't know what you are looking at, that is no use
