Been coughing a sputtering for about 10 days now, getting slightly better in that I'm not coughing all the time.
I now have a stinking cold for the first time in months and months.

Thought a nice warm bath would make me feel better but I had to keep sitting up because of hot and cold sweats. Got out, got dressed and was frezzing, so put a cardi on. Then baking hot.
Now I'm freezing again.
Banging head ache too.

UUgghhhhh.

Needless to say the kids will be watching alot of tele today.

I really do feel rubbish. Sitting right next to the radiator now to try and warm up.

get them to check your chest carefully

and if you have an infection take antibiotics

Are you taing paracetamol to keep your temp down?

Drink plenty of fluids too.

dh is suffering and don't I know it - stoicism is not his strong suit!

Sympathies - I have had a cold/sore throat/sinus infection on and off for 8 weeks!

I'll be going to Doc's tomorrow anyway as Ds2 has started coughing in the mornings. It sounds like he been smoking havannah cigars all night.

have you taken the paracetamol, vitamin c, hot drink zinc tablet bits?
then get into bed, and let the kids watch telly.
