blisters on sole of foot

ds has lots of blisters on the sole of one of his feet. any idea what it could be?

I get blisters on the bottom of my feet if I wear certain shoes when it is hot, they are caused by the friction of the foot in the shoe. Did he wear any shoes without socks ? Is he wearing synthetic shoes that do not breath as well as leather ones ? If you are worried just get them checked out.

Do they itch? If so, athletes foot probably.

Hand, foot and mouth infection? I only heard about this for the first time this week, don't know too much other than one of the symptoms is blisters on hands/feet.

only on one foot, so I'm assuming socks and shoes are ok.

he has had athletes foot before, so maybe it is that. didn't realise it caused blisters.

have managed to get a doctors appointment tomorrow, so should know soon. thanks for your help.

Could be pomphylx (spelt a bit like that anyway).
