I don't know if anyone remembers my earlier posts about ExH and my trip to my consultant? Thankfully, the bruising/scarring is ok at present (largely due to being left alone!).
I am still suffering pain though (which I have discovered through 'DIY', which I also had to tell the consultant , oh, and the nurse in the room too) and it seems that this may be the answer to the problem.
It's positive indeed, I have a lot of work to do mentally/emotionally before I can imagine being with another partner but I certainly couldn't go ahead in the fear of this particular pain at this particular time not to mention the daily tenderness of it.
It's a strange one but I thought it warrented mention!
