Mirena coil and spaces between periods

I have had my coil for a couple of years now and tbh I cannot really remember how often I get my period. However, it does turn up (but very light) every feww weeks and all has been good.

However, today I started thinking and I haven't had one now since the beginning fo July - is this normal?

i, Ive only had mine in since January, but Ive only had one period since and was told that wit some people it can stop you bleeding completely so hoping to be one of those. :)

I've had mine since October 2008 and every few months get a tiny bit of brown blood.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear. What I mean is that it seems much longer than normal for me since I had a period iyswim. Can the length of time change between periods?

I'm trying to remember what mine have done - I think it has got longer between the bits of bleeding I have although I don't keep track of it now tbh.

I suppose there is always the possibility of being pregnant - have you done a test (to hopefully reassure)?

That's the thing I haven't been keeping track of it, so no idea if it varies a lot or not!

There is a slight nag about pg but think it would be a very very slim chance due to me having a coil fitted, being 44 and also not really doing that much bd this summer! Just wondering why it is coming up for 40+ days without af.
