Today I got my very first pfb Grin which is really great, we're super happy. The only thing is, we have a trip booked to Thailand in January and we'll lose about £1300 if we cancel, never mind the fact that I don't want to not go, I think it will be a lovely last holiday for the two of us.

I'm trying to find out any info on whether I will need any jabs and if they are safe. I had them last time we went but maybe they are not strictly necessary? They have expired unfortunately.

Any advice gratefully received, I don't want this to take the shine off a lovely surprise!

If you do decide to cancel surely your holiday insurance would cover most of the refund?

I have just discovered that I'm pregnant - about 1 month gone now. We had plans to travel to India in March for a month's holiday, landing in Mumbai and then staying mostly in Goa. I am thinking hard now about whether this is a good idea. I have been to see a nurse and would only need to take malaria tablets one week before Goa (which apparently are ok to take when pregnant), as am up to date with other injections. Does anyone have any advice about this? Has anyone travelled to India when pregnant? If yes what were your experiences? Would you recommend it?
