Pea size lump in tummy???

Have felt a small pea size lump on my stomach about 2inches above belly button slightly to the right... could be a fatty deposit but not sure, have had quite a long time now and now startin to get a bit worried..... can anyone help with a similar situation?

Might be a lipoma - a harmless fatty lump - but you should see the GP to get it checked out.

i had one! went ot the doctor she put local aneasthetic in and popped it out using the end of a scalpel to amke a small hole! bleurggh! GROSS, BUT QUICK AND PAIN FREE (oops sorry about caps) it was a,lump of hard white stuff, bit like a spot gone hard iyswim, she even asked me if i wanted to keep it!!!!
