Looks like I'll need uterine fibroid embolisation.

Anyone had this procedure? Would really like some insider info. I have a rather large (14cmx17cmx10cm) fibroid. I pretty much understand how the op works, but need to know how much pain there really is afterwards (some internet articles call it 'discomfort', others say you're on pump-action morphine immediately afterwards), how long the fibroids take to shrink, and how much do they shrink. And anything else you think I ought to know.

Ta!!
