DD has pulled her big toenail off.....any advice?

3yo DD has pulled her entire big toenail off (no idea how......guess maybe it was damaged somehow). I've put a padded bandage over it, but just wondered if anyone had any further advice. Should I put some antiseptic on it or anything?

I would take her to the GP/nurse and ask for it to be dressed properly as any infection on the nail bed can affect the new toenail growing.
Ask for Mepitel to be used (it's very expensive, but you only a bit need to be cut off a strip and used) - this is a non-adhesive dressing which does not stick and shouldn't hurt when removed.

I did this once and it grew back fine. Just keep an eye on it and keep it clean. If your worried it has become infected then see gp
