Just being nosey I guess. How tall are you? how much do you weigh?
Husband thinks I'm a bit lardy with a bum!!! Friends think I'm slim. Brother thinks I'm skinny.

Your husband deserves to be told to fuck off. You are v slim. In my teens, I was 8 st at 5ft 6 and looked far too thin.

I must be a right heiffer then at 5'6 and 10.5st...

Don't know how I manage to squeeze myself into those size 10-12s

I'm 5'7 also and 10st. A bit more than I'm comfortable with, although people consider me slim. I reckon I'm about right at 9st2-4.
If I go below 9st I look positively cadaverous.

I am 5'8" and 10 stones, I used to be your weight for many years though and was a size 4 (definitely skinny may too much).

I think it's very unlikely you're 'lardy' at that weight and height. Do you actually want to know the height and weight of random strangers on the internet, or is this about your relationship and your husband's attitude to your weight?

This rings alarm bells for me.

I'm 5'2" and when I weigh 8 stone 7lbs I'm skinny. People ask if I'm unwell, although TBH it is the weight I like myself at best. Am now 8 13, DP says it's the perfect weight for me. Mind you he says that when I'm any where between 8 1/2 and 9 1/2 stone.

Im 5,1 and 6st 7. Im v skinny same as the rest of my family. You sound pretty thin too , tell your husband to sod off and have a nice slice of cake. I recomend lemon drizzle.

5 foot 7 and 10 stone 3. Size 10 top. 12-14 bottom. I am not fat.

5'4" and 8st 12lbs - but I am 50, which makes a difference. I'm small framed, too - so can't carry much more weight without feeling it unpleasantly.

That said, at 8st 7lbs - your weight, and 3" shorter than you - I was too thin and looked scrawny. Even ten years ago. I didn't think so at the time, but I look at photos now and its obvious!

Maybe he is just being grumpy! he (Mr Chickydoo) could do with loosing some paunch.....but actually I don't mind, I rather like it. I guess I'm not as toned as I used to be, but hell who cares.....Me thinks I need to have words with him indoors!

Maybe he does mean un-toned rather than 'too big' but random comments about the 'failings' of your body are not on. Constructive criticism when asked for it is one thing, uncalled for nasty comment are another kettle of fish .

If you feel unfit, then toning up exercise wouldn't be a problem but you sure as heck aren't fat!
