Just heard about homeopathty remedies for pregnancy, to induce labour, help relax you during labour, postaprtum bleeding, heal stitches etc.

It all sounds great but does it actually work. I dont want to waste my money but if I know it does help then i would definitely buy some.

Be very interested to hear your experiences?

I found the ones for healing afterwards (first was a cs, second was vbac but quite a nasty tear)really helpful and believe they reduced my need for conventional pain killers. Couldn't tell you about other uses except I took an aconite during my second labour and felt it did actually take the edge off the fear and panic that I was feeling.

But during labour I found essential oils really soothing as well - just a couple of drops of lavender wafting around on a tissue was lovely. hth.

Thanks Franke

Where did you buy yours from?

Well, Boots used to do 30c strength of all the common ones and depending on which Homeopath you ask, many will say this is enough. However, if you want 200c (which is what I used) you need to go to a specialist supplier like Helios (try Googling) who do mail order. They also do a specific kit for pregnancy and birth but this is much more than you will ever need even if you go on to have 10 more babies!
