OMG!

Hey, did you ever post what she'd said to you when you were ill?

edam · 26/11/2005 10:18

thought I was the only one who said 'yes mum, no mum, whatever you say mum' when she's spouting nonsense!

MistleToo · 26/11/2005 10:19

mum knows best

Frizbe · 26/11/2005 10:21

OMG! that sounds like my dad 'that's not cold, we used to have icicles on the inside of our windows'......

QueenVictoria · 26/11/2005 10:25

Ha ha! its a mum thing.

Im dont have asthma. Im asthmatic.

And cutting my hair short in the same style as my brothers DID make it grow through thicker of course.

hmmmmm.

Have to make sure DD wears socks or slippers when MIL is around as you DO get a chill in your kidneys if you walk round barefoot on a cold floor.

puff · 26/11/2005 10:30

we're never to old for a lecture - Mums need to keep their hand in

highlander · 26/11/2005 11:32

ooh, bottle of wine to you for not slapping her

Twiglett · 26/11/2005 12:44

oo forgot one

DD is obviously a little clingy .. she's had a horrible time with people poking and prodding her and is poorly

Mum says

don't let her get too clingy now, you'll never be able to put her down
... no mum

Blimey, so would I! Glad Twiglette is on the mend, and sorry she was so sick in the first place. Hope she's bouncing back fast.

ps my Mum: 'don't eat the ends of bananas, flies lay eggs in them!' Bananas, hmmmm...

HRHWickedwaterwitch · 26/11/2005 13:14

Mothers hey? I think it was you who said Twig that our mothers know how to press our buttons since they installed them. True, true. Is your dd ok? (I assume she must be or you wouldn't be here!)

Cam · 26/11/2005 15:25

But Twiglett didn't your mum used to chuck you outside in your pram or to play in all weathers ?
Mine did.

And my little brother did get bronchitis when he was a few weeks old.
