first period after giving birth

When am I likely to have a period? My baby is nearly 11 weeks old and I'm breast feeding.
I have the pill, but it says take on the first day of your period, only I haven't had one yet!

If you are breastfeeding it could be a long time. Dd3 was 8 months & thats not late

Am breastfeeding - DD's 11m and nothing. I've heard of people going for up to to two years.

I've just had my first one, 13 months after DD was born.

Well, I'd start that pill on any day if I were you.
(DD was conceived within my first cycle, 11 months after birth to DS, without me knowing. I was waiting for my first period to start the pill as well. Not had a period in over 3 years and DD is 11 months old now. Had a coil fitted 6 months after she was born. )
