can i treat vaginal thrush with just canesten cream

Or do I need a pessary or that diflucan stuff? I have the cream already and the other stuff is expensive.

I think the cream is just to ease the symptoms, but you can probably find out online or ask NHS Direct?

Presumably you can get it on prescription, which brings the cost down, although I fully accept prescriptions are not cheap!

Everytime I have antibiotics I get it. Grrr.

Take a spoonful of natural yoghurt (orally!) when you take the antibiotics. It rebalances the flora and fauna so you dont get thrush.
Works a treat everytime.
