Can you get glandular fever twice?

I had glandular fever four years ago and I can categorically swear that I have every symptom going which I had the first time around.

I think the medical position is that you can only get any one type once but there's more than one type. However if you only had it 4 years ago, I'd wonder if you 've got something else flu like and your glands are still sensitive. If I got anything, even mild, for ages after having gf my glands came up badly. It's still the first sign of me having something coming that m,y glands start swelling, and I had gf more than 10 yrs ago. They don't come up badly now though.
