I took her to gp today and they said come back in72 hours if not improved. It looks like it is spreading. I have two worries, will infection damage her breast. The other was when googing, her symptoms are the same as inflamatory breast cancer. I need to share those worries as holding it inside is making me anxious.

My dd had an infected nipple which had a red hot area around her nipple with a lump underneath. She was presribed antibiotics and it went.
If it's spreading I would get her checked again incase it is infected.

Sorry forgot to say she has antibiotics.

Keep an eye on it and if you think it's getting worse get advice from out of hours

She could have a simple infection that will clear up with the Ab'd, but please don't worry any further by looking up symptoms on the internet....you can end up with a brain tumour dx by googling migraine symptoms...!

Hope the Ab's kick in and your DD is ok
