All the very best for your dd's operation, I know it means a lot. Best wishes for her recovery, let us know how it goes?

(potty's dd is going in today for surgery tomorrow which will help level out her leg length discrepancy)

Oh honey, best best best. I really hope it goes very well.

Marina · 15/11/2005 12:33

Potty, I have no experience of this sort of thing, but I know you have travelled an especially fraught path to get to this operation, and I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Good luck to you and dd.

Blu · 15/11/2005 13:37

Have just seen her pic on Member Profiles - she's lovely!

Aaaw thanks, especially to you Blu! We're fairly calm here now, fingers crossed for a good (and as pain free as possible) result.

Blu · 15/11/2005 13:58

How long will she have to stay in, Potty? And how long before she can put weight on it?
Can we do anything to help - send dvds for her to watch, or anything? Books?

Potty wishing you and your dd all the good luck in the world
and wishing your dd a swift recovery
xxx

She'll be in for just a few days Blu, depending on how she is cardiac-wise after the GA. Hopefully weight bearing in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the offer of things to do, but we'll be fine honestly. SIL has just pitched up with a bag of DVD's and I raided the library yesterday.

I'll let you know how things go.

Today's the day - I know you've been through operations before, but it's not easy, and I'm thinking of you.

Hi All!

Just to let you know that I have heard from Potty. She said the op went well but that her dd is quite sore. Her sats were a little low & heart rate a little high yesterday.

I hope that they had a settled night and that she feels a bit better this am.

Marina · 19/11/2005 12:56

Thanks for the update heartmum, have been wondering how they were doing. Glad the op went well and hope potty's dd's SATS and obs stabilise completely very soon.

macwoozy · 19/11/2005 13:06

Here's hoping she has a speedy recovery.

Potty1 · 19/11/2005 15:38

Thanks for all the good wishes. We're home!
