What are these spots on me and dd?

Dd (6 yrs) had spots that looked like bites on her legs. Took her to the pharmacy and he said it looked like an allergic reaction, give her piriton. I have now got the same thing on my stomach.
Anyone else had this?
We don't have any animals btw!

I once has a line of big bite like spots across my waist...Never found out what they were...are they itchy?

sb - yes very itchy and like yours in a line from belly button up!

Now, the strange thing was that I got them when wearing a silky pyjama outfit with an elasticated waist.
I gave the pjs to a friend and lo and behold, she got the rash too!
I was convinced that something had laid its eggs in me and I was going to have maggots burst out of my skin. I was 11 with an overactive imagination
