I've got one surviving baby tooth, a molar. It is pretty past it and is sometimes quite wobbly. The gum has receded quite a bit. It's on it's way out.
In the last day or two I've had sharp pain around the tooth. This sometimes happens a bit but then gets better. However, today it's worse and when I push against a certain part of the gum it is pretty painful. Does this sound like the start of a tooth absess? I'm going on holiday on Sunday, and if so I'll need to get to a dentist asap.
