Do I have ovarian cancer?

Over the past week I have developed a numb left foot and lower left leg and also a vague numbness in my right foot. I also have a dull pain in my side and groin which I have had for quite some time but never really got round to chatting to the doctor about.
I am now starting to worry that I have ovarian cancer!
Do these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?
Please help, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow but want some info tonight

To be honest doesnt sound like classic ovarian cancer to me.

Are you bloated all the time with no obvious reason?

Can you finish an average sized meal?

Is there a family history?

Go to the docs anyway if you are worried, always get checked out, but I dont think its that.

Thanks
Yes can definitely finish an average sized meal although I am bloated all the time and my sister and mum both had cysts on their ovaries and had them removed.
I am just so worried, so thank you for replying Smile

Well it could be cysts like your sister and mother had (non cancerous I assume?)

Bit of a long shot but unexplained numbness can also be folate definciency.

Think your risk of ovarian cancer is slightly increased if you havent had children so your doc may want to know about any pregnancies. Good luck sure you will be fine :)

I don't think so - please have a look at this website.

Best of luck tomorrow.

My sister's cyst was 'borderline' which I think means that it may have contained cells that might have turned cancerous, she had the cyst removed and then the doctor thought it best to remove the whole ovary which they did.

Anyway I just hope it's nothing although the foot and leg numbness is irritating and annoying!
