When you go on your summer hols what medical bits and pieces do you take with you? I seem to take everything except the kitchen sink!

Also, this is the first time of going abroad with a three year old, so not quite sure what I should be taking.

Any help would be useful

plasters, antiseptic wipes, calpol sachets. That's about it really. You can buy anything else you need while you are away.

they have pharmacies abroad you know. Wink

Agree with Choufleur. The important one is to have all prescribed medications with you preferably in original named packaging. It depends where you are going- maybe add childrens antihistamene syrup and a le clic or insect bite pen if allergies or mozzies likely to be troublesome - obviously preventative also.

dioralyte, anti-diarrhoea tablets, neurofen for kids, paracetamol/ibuprofen for yourself, bite and sting cream. I would rather take the stuff with me as at least the instructions are in English and you dont have to try and find places that sell what you are looking for.

Nothing. They do sell paracetemol, anti histimines etc abroad you know!
