uterine fibroma

Just come back from doing an internal ultrasound. It was the one that I was supposed to do 7mths after giving birth but I forgot about it and only just got round to it now.

The doctor doing the ultrasound send that I have a uterine fibroma. I have been on internet and it seems all a bit scary.

Can anyone reassure please? and will this be a problem for falling pregnant again?

They found two when pregnant with DS. They had no impact on me being able to get pregnant and I've got pregnant since twice (one unrelated MC and now 12 weeks) so obviously no impact.

It does depend on their size and location but they estimate that they are very common and we just don't know we have them unless they grow very big or they pick them up on a scan.

What size is yours? What did the doc say?
