It all started about two weeks ago. My throat became really itchy and I had a constant nagging headche and generally felt a bit hot and tired. It seemed like it was going away at one point but then it came back only along with it came wierd stomach pains and a loss of appetite. Now the throat pains come and go but my appetite is now terrible, all I seem to want to do is drink tea and coffee and my stomach feels so achey and queezy. It's that bad that someone bought me a box of ferero roches and usually they simply cannot stay in the house without be devouring the lot but I've had 3 and just 'can't be arsed' to eat the rest.

I actually feel quite down and tearful too but I don't know why.

It's so difficult to explain because I don't feel "ill" as such, I just don't feel "right" iyswim??

Hayfever.
Making you thirsty?
Hence the tea/ coffee.
Tea/ coffee making your tummy gurgly.
It is making you tired thus the tearfullness and not feeling right.

I have this too and I think it's a bug of some sort. Actually came over to this forum to see if anyone else had the same symptoms. DH has had it as well. Stomach cramps, mild nausea (but no vomiting), stomach gurgling (especially today) loss of appetite (!!!!!!!) and in my case, mild vertigo. I think the vertigo has finally gone, touch wood. I thought I had a hair stuck in my throat -- it isn't really that itchy, just slightly irritated all the time.

It really does drag on and it is sort of on-off. I haven't been to doc. Please post again so we can commiserate at least!!

It's a bug.

Me and ds1 have had it.

Hidden, how long til you were over it completely? I think I'm coming up on two weeks now which is really . . . grrrrrr.

madonnawhore · 17/05/2011 15:16

I had this and it took me 3 weeks to get over. I'm still not 100% now; tried to go swimming last night, normally I can do 40 lengths no problem, I had to stop at 20 because I was so weak and tired.

Whatever that bug was it was EVIL.

YY Madonna -- had to give up in the middle of my workout on Sunday as I felt faint.

Really mopey with it, too, TBH. It IS evil.
