Moving abroad- WWYD re vaccinations?

We are moving to Australia in August- DS will be 9 mo. We are likely to be away for around 3 years, and will of course register with a doctor as soon as we get there so he can have all the locally-recommended vaccinations.

He has had all vaccinations up to this point- is it worth asking GP for his 12 month boosters (and possibly MMR) before we go? Will they do it before he's a year old? Thanks!

I'd go onto whatever the local schedule is and get it done there.

I be the GP would, but I wouldn't. Honestly, no. Sort it out when you're there.

They will do MMR here. There are also other things that they vaccinate for here & not in the UK, so when you see a dr ask what they are & decide if you want to go ahead.

Each state is different, so it can vary a lot!
