I'm booked in for keyhole surgery next month to remove my gall bladder. I have gall stones and have been feeling nauseaous on and off for a while now, loss of appetite etc. I've also been very lethargic for ages, I wonder if his is connected?

Can I have some experiences of the procedure itself and how you felt afterwards? Also what's it like a few months or years down the line? Thanks

I had mine removed about 18 months ago by keyhole surgery.

It was absolutely fine and totally straightforward - I could have gone home that day but I was in a private hospital in a room of my own away from the DC so I thought I would stay just one night Wink

Hospital gave me a sicknote for 2 weeks but I would have been ok to go back after 1 week really. Was back at the gym after about 10 days. Have had no side-effects whatsoever other than being able to eat what I want Grin
