Weak pelvic floor getting me down.....Aqauflex, or Kegel8?

I always wear a pad as I'm too frightened not to. Usually it's not too bad, but I've had bronchitis for over a week now and am leaking badly every time I cough and almost never made it to the toilet earlier when I needed to poo BlushSad It's also affecting Dh and I's sex life as the last few times we've had sex I've wet myself at orgasm. Not condusive to a healthy sex life Sad

I've gone for a course of physio before and although there was a little improvement with pelvic floor exercises, it wasn't a huge amount. I then missed an appointment due to illness and was discharged and life has got in the way of starting the process again

So, am considering an aid to help me, and have come across aquaflex cones before, but have also seen electrothingy devices like the kegel8. Is the benefit from these worth spending the money? It seems from my (limited) research that they both do the same thing, but the electrothingy ones do it a little bit quicker?

Any testimonials, or advice?

I've used one of the electro-thingies, and it does seem to have some effect for me. You have my sympathy - my pelvic floor has all the strength and elasticity of a wet paper bag, and I dread getting a cold. I did speak to my doctor about it, and she said that pelvic floor exercises are still the first line of defence, and doing them in conjunction with the electro thingy might help too.

There is also a more mechanical thing - sort of spring-loaded - that you insert in your vagina and then squeeze against the resistance of the spring - that is supposed to be good too.

I hope you can get this sorted out - it is such a horrible feeling, I know.

Have a look at the Stress No More website, may be useful for you.
