Mirena coil good for stopping periods for a lot of people.

the supply was back to normal when I picked mine up last week. There was a shortage when I got my last lot 6 months ago and I got the last packs in the chemist. Have you tried an alternative chemist?

Seona1973 · 14/05/2011 09:25

p.s. there was an update about supply issues in April and they say that cerazette is in stock in the UK:

Can't try an alternative chemist. Well I suppose I could but go to military surgery and the prescritions go staright from consulting room through to dispensary, (I never actually see prescription)

I am really annoyed htough as was on depo for 5 years with no problems and then been on cerazette for 2 years with no problems. i suppsoe doc will start banging on about hysterectomy again Hmm

There was a shortage last year. Don't know about now as I never actually got any in the first place to start.

taylor74 · 14/05/2011 14:26

Could you not try depo,I am on that and have no periods at all. I know not everyone likes injections but this is the one I take and have had no problems in the last 2 yrs I have taken it. Maybe worth a chat with your GP X

HarrietJones · 14/05/2011 14:37

OP says she can't have depo Hmm

Saltire · 14/05/2011 16:15

I ahd depo for 5 years but got taken off due to very high blood pressure.
Which has now come down but still high so they won't let me on it
