Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to post but we have a bit of money left over each month and our jobs are secure, so while I know it's fairly low down the list of essentials I was thinking of taking out a family health insurance policy. Does anyone have any experience of this, I would be interested in any thoughts on who the best providers are.

The main benefits I would be looking for would be to be able to stay in the private wing of NHS hospital as I am a very light sleeper so having to be on an NHS ward would prevent me getting any sleep as I know from my experience of maternity wards! Also I would like to have shorter waiting times for consultation/treatment. I am with an NHS dentist so not bothered about dental cover. To date DP and I have excellent health (in mid 40's) but this may not last for ever so thought it would be good to sort out now.

Thanks in advance!

Any treatment that goes on too long and they call it 'chronic' and stop paying (the voice of experience). Thats with Axa PPP.
