Ice Caps and Anti-Nausea Lollies for Chemotherapy?

I've searched MN but can't find the info I'm looking for. My ds1's MIL is about to undergo chemotherapy and I said I would find out about icecaps which can help reduce hair loss and also anti-nausea lollies. I know I've seen them mentioned on MN so I hope someone can help.

look here for scalp cooling.

Seems to work better for some drugs than others, so depends what she is having, I think.

Her oncology nurse will have all the info she needs about this, probably!

Have you tried the blooming awful website for anti nausea advice? it's designed for hyperemesis, but applies to all severe forms of nausea really.

just an aside but do get yr ds mil to ask about reflexolgy and if one can be reccommended to her,Christie cancer hospital in Mcr(and most nhs trusts i think)use it constantly for patients having chemo as it seems to work very well at alleviating the dreadful sickness .

Thnak you so much for the replies, that's just great. Ds's mil lives in California and it seems that this cap is a British thing but I'll investigate further and see if she can get it in the US. Thanks again.
