Even after I've just been. Been feeling like this for four or five days. I've tried to ignore it, but it was harder back at work today.

Has anyone else any experience of these symptoms?

UTI? Any other symptoms?

moggiek · 03/05/2011 22:11

No, none. I feel well, and that's why it seems odd.

Do you feel bloated? Does your stomach feel swollen?

ilovemyhens · 03/05/2011 22:20

I had this a while ago and it turned out it was tea! I was ill for four months and had about four courses of antibiotics, but it was still there. I cut out tea and I'm fine. No problems at all now. If I drink juice it also irritates my bladder.

Try drinking Evian water, milk, peppermint tea and nettle tea for a few days and see how you get on.

No, my stomach doesn't feel bloated or swollen.

I'll try cutting out tea for a few days. Thanks for the advice.

Get your doctor to test for infection. If thats clear try to work out what is triggering your bladder. For me it was anything acidic (orange and blackcurrant juice), caffeine and artificial sweeteners.

I have spells of this - whatever the infection is, I can usually flush it out fairly quickly - drink a load of water or whatever (cranberry juice is meant to be good) regularly. If it doesn't clear up in the next day or so, see you GP - you might need ABs.

Oh that's good. Needing to pee all the time was one my the symptoms of my ovarian cyst, but I had other symptoms too - mainly feeling bloated.

Could you have overactive bladder? I got it about 6 months after DD was born, and it's only just gone of its own accord. The doctor wouldn't take it seriously, and told me I was imagining it, so I lived with it. I wasn't peeing all the time, though. Do you have any irritation? In the end, I was treated with a drug called Regurin, which worked.
