We are at the very early stages of knowing what is going on but it seems that the symptoms that we have been putting down to general aging are infact parkinsons.
The speed with which things are changing for her is scarey and so far doctors that she has seen have suggested that it is progressing very fast.

Can anyone help with tips and advice and stuff that we can do as friends that obviously are not medical help but general care and loving things tha would be helpful?

She is adamant that she is booking a ticket to dignitas before it is too late for her to make that call but that is a whole other thread, this is more a what support do you think she would find most useful?

Please, any advice will be eagerly recieved.

My grandfather had parkinson's. He died when I was 16 but not from the parkinson's.
He lived in his own home until he was in his 80's, with my dad popping in each day to see him and check that he was ok.
Things have changed alot for parkinson's suffers. My grandfather died in 1992 and he had parkinson's for over 20 years.
Yes the tremors were bad, and he dribbled a lot but he still lived to a good age despite having parkinsons.
