Underarm rash really getting me down. Anyone got any miracle cures ?

I have always been prone to shaving rash under my arms now and again, but this would generally clear up in a few days, but this time I have had it for weeks.

So far I have tried, switching deoderants (to a cream one), which has helped alot but the rash is still there. Tried treating it with thrush treatmenst incase it was fungal, and also smothered it in sudocrem overnight several times, but despite a brief few days where it seemd to be clearing up, it is still bloody there and it is so so sore..

The skin is red and tight and spotty and I am having to cover up in this lovely weather, because it looks awful.

I know I should go to the docs and I will if I can manage to get an appointment anytime soon, but I just wondered if anyone else has this problem, and what you do.

Oh and as I think shaving is definetly at least a part of the problem, what shall I do about hair removal ?? Skin is to sensitive for waxing I think.

Hi, I recently developed a painful rash under my arms, it got so painful that I went to my Dr and she prescribed antibiotics as it led to an infection she also said to be careful as it could lead to an abcess.If you have had it for a few weeks maybe you should see your Dr. Yes shaving does cause it just try to avoid shaving so often. I hate underarm growth but try to stay a day without deodrant as long as it's not a hot day nothing worse than the smell of b.o. Nothing much you can do really maybe try immac cream.
