stomach pains most days - any ideas??

I have been getting stomach pains most days since the birth of daughter last November. I have to take a couple of paracetamol to get rid of it.

I've been to the doctors about 5 times, at first I was to do with the birth and it would take time to recover. Then I was given tablets for gastro retention which I took for a month and made no difference. The doctor has found no masses.

The pain seems to be all around my stomach area and comes on when I'm active.

Any ideas?

Is is proper stomach ache as in under your ribs? I had pains there on and off for 4 years before it was decided I had a stomach ulcer. It is brought on by stress and goes with a course of omeperazole.

Thats what I was diagnosed for one month pegpolkadot. How long was the course you took?

Are there any other symptoms of a stomach ulcer?

The pain is right under my ribs at times and sometimes lower down by my belly button.

Just seen a scary news article about the silent killer ovrian cancer - now I can't relax, phoned for a doctors appoitnement but can't get in till tomorrow. Can't stop worrying

gall stones, very common after pregnancy

My course was for a month too. It did clear it up. Oddly enough the reason my ulcer flared up so badly was because my mum waxbill then ultimately diagnosed with ovarian cancer. If it makes you feel better I don't think stomach pain is a symptom- more bloating.

it could be anything including low calcium levels so they should do a blood sample.

don't worry!!!
