Do I go to the dr or self medicate?

I have a terrible sore throat, much worse today than yesterday. My neck hurts and my glands are swollen & I have a horrible headache. do I need to see a dr or just take ibuprofen and drag myself to work?

I would self medicate but stay at home.

Can you talk to your GP on the phone for advice?
Do you have a temperature?

Temp is just under 38 (usually 36.5) Don't know if dr does phone calls. Will call and see. I hate feeling rubbish and even more, hate calling in sick at work.. Thank you.

Saw dr and have antibiotics. Taken loads of ibuprofen so off to work now. Would rather be in bed!

gargle with soluble aspirin as long as you are not asthmatic or have an ulcer
