So I've been for my gynae appt today and this is what I need to have done 
DS was born 6 months ago and I had a second degree tear after he presented with shoulder dystocia. Sex has been completely unbearable ever since, even though my stitches apparently healed fine - we've not been able to get anywhere with it. My GP referred me to the gynae and even though I knew I would need to have something done (both the GP and gynae could see straight away where the problem area is) it's still depressing to be told for sure. I'm told it will be done as a day case under a general. Would love to hear positive stories of successful procedures as right now I can't imagine ever having pain-free sex again...
