Arrrghhh! Any advice? Lost EHIC card, leave on thurs!!

The title says it all. I lost ds's EHIC. I am sure he has one of his own. He has food allergies, so I definitely need it, but can't find it ANYWHERE!!!!!

Of course, all the call centres are closed for the bank holidays.
Does anyone know if I can get one issued quickly?

try applying for another online or there is a section on the website of what to do if you have one but lost it, I did this for mine last year

If you phone the helpline, they will give you the number of your son's card and a phone number to use when abroad. If you need medical treatment, give the dr the card number, phone the phone number and they will fax a copy of the EHIC over to the treating dr. Don't worry
