conjunctivitus - how soon can DS go back to school?

We noticed the weepy eye tuesday afternoon and went to the doctors wednesday morning where he diagnosed conjunctivitus.
We started with the drops straight away wednesday morning and even by wednesday lunchtime there was no more discharge. DS has had the drops morning and night since then and today there has been no dishcanrge at all.

Would it be okay for him to go back to school tomorrow (he desperately wants to) or should i keep him home for another day?

TIA

I think he'd be ok. I'd assume no discharge = no transmission.

I've had nursery workers tell me they think kids get conjunctivitis by sticking their fingers up their noses and then rubbing their eyes, not from other kids, IYSWIM.
