Taking ibuprofen and paracetamol together

I know I can take both, but should I leave a certain amount of time between taking one and then the other, or can I take both at the same time? I have a raging toothache that ibuprofen isn't touching on its own, and I want to take a dose of paracetamol as well, but I only took my last lot of ibuprofen twenty minutes ago.

Please tell me I can ...

Yes you can! I was told could take 3 paracetamol + 2 nurofen , 4 times a day,when suffering.

Hope you get better

I normally take them 2 hours apart but that's only so that you get a boost every 2 hrs instead of every 4 iyswim!

no reason not to take them at the same time afaik!

Oh, thank you! I haven't had any of the paracetamol at all today so still have some in hand for tonight, so to speak.

(runs off to grab paracetamol!)

Had an extraction filling and clean all in one recently so I have felt your pain. of course being a bloke meant it was ten time worse

You definitely can! I took medical advice after being diagnosed with meralgia parasthetica.Agony!
Take a 400mg of ibuprofen and two paracetemol together. Then space the rest of the day, 4 hrs paracetemol and 6 hrs between ibuprofen. No side effects, can still look after baby!

I take both together and its the only thing that clears my migraines at the moment.
