See above. I've had heavy periods since my IUD was put in, but they've been getting lighter. Now my period is a week late.
I went for a blood test this morning after a few weeks of extreme tiredness, dizziness, sores round mouth, confusion and headaches - I seem to tick off most of the symptoms of anaemia, plus I look pretty pale and run down recently. Should I leave it and see what happens when the iron kicks in, or panic? I am not in a good position to get pregnant hence the IUD...was wondering whether anyone else has missed periods with untreated anaemia.
